I Immi’s 4th Birthday and its party time ay “Monkey Mania”- yes easy option, but twice bitten...
Immi and her friends had a great time with the soft play, slides, ball pit etc. Followed by the best Australian Party food ! ‘E’ numbers and sugar galore , the best (worst) of which is Fairy Bread – White Bread, spread with thick butter and dipped in hundreds and thousands!!! I thinks its actually banned in the EU.... Jamie Oliver, this Country needs you.
She had a wonderful weekend and the highlight was Saturday Morning opening everyone’s cards and presents from the UK & New Zealand, thanks to everyone.

One of Sal’s fabulous cakes, enjoyed by
all and plenty to bring home...Mmmm.

Soft toys included for all, stuffed while you wait.....bit like the kids!

Katie and Grace - Max age to party in Monkey Mania is 12yrs, so Katie had to lie about her age......brought back memories for me - Speak Easy Nightclub, Llandudno 1985 ;-)

Holly’s School had a “dress as a book character” day, Holly went as Dorothy from Wizard of Aus Oz, the shoes were smothered in glue and dipped in glitter, there are still bits in the house, car, garden.... With 850 kids in the school, pickup time was a sight to behold....the rightful winner for the day, was Violet from Charlie and the Chocolate factory (the purple one that blows up to the size of a weather balloon) poor child must have been sick of his costume after 7hrs, unable to sit, get through doors, scratch his nose etc etc... .that said, were not competitive, but the plans for next year’s outfit are looking good...Captain Max Pruss and his ship the Hindenburg.

Special Time with Sian

We have had a lovely time with Sian and Nicki visiting. First in Sydney for a weekend they then went off to see Uluru and the Whitsundays returning last weekend for 4 days in Canberra doing the routine stuff. The girls kept them busy disrupting the usual holiday lie ins they had been used to. It was lovely to see them and the we all looking forward to seeing Sian again soon.

Teenager in the House!

Katie had a lovely birthday on 21st July so thanks for all the lovely cards, presents and wishes. We had 8 13/14 year olds over for a sleepover which was great for her! Kate is growing up fast, but still as lovely as ever (biased parents of course!)
