Conwy - Nana & Grandad

Time for some History – kids the only “Castle” in Australia is “Castlemain”. Conwy Castle was built 280 years before the first fleet arrived in Botany Bay……..OK, there is no heating and the roof is missing, but just try and take an interest!!

Maybe a shot for this year's Saga Calendar?

Sal and I had the absolute luxury of staying in a newly renovated cottage within the town walls ( http://www.castlecottageconwy.co.uk/ ), whilst the girls stayed with Grandad and Nana……..it was hard to tear ourselves away and Sal and I would often be back knocking at their door as early as 1030AM. The cottage lacked nothing, the young owners had such and eye for detail, even the complimentary toiletries matched the colour scheme!!

We too have stayed at Castle Cottage in Conwy - would like to point out that the owners are not only young, but good looking too!

I have visited Castle Cottage Conwy on several occasions and agree that it is very nicely appointed and ideally situated. However I feel I must say that describing the owners as both young and good looking is open to discussion!!!!

Whilst writing may I also ask what linking Saga with the panoramic photo of the lone figure on Conwy town walls was implying?
