Christmas in July!?

Noting that Christmas down under means tackling a roast dinner on a day that is routinely over 35c - just ‘wrong’.  We had Christmas in July with temperatures a more ‘festive’ 10c.  

Traditional Christmas buffet in both menu and excessive quantity,

accompanied by lashings of fine beverage and full Christmas decorations.

 

Treasure hunt for the Kids, which due to a few lost clues (I think the dog ate them) – turned 10 minutes of fun into a 45 minute slog for some.  

No clues = no prizes, now go back and look harder!!

Wilson enjoys a few tasty bubbles,  delicious !

Dance Competition

Katie and Holly enter their solo dances in a local competition. Both did very well.

Lots of emotion from Holly as the little match girl.....my god, she can act – Jackie the dance teacher had tears in her eyes at the end of the dance!

Katie was one of the youngest in her 13yrs and over contemporary category,
but got 3^rd out of 17 dancers. Well done No 1.   

Sian and Laura Visit

Great isn't it, we are very lucky,  the cover was extra, but it has lasted very well and I have found that the size is just right for moving logs, sand gravel etc etc.

Picnic time - crisps and fruit, a balanced diet.

Girls!, Girls! Look.......Immi can levitate.

Oh, hang on, it looks like they all do it.

Water still warm, but weather a little bit bracing for the beach

Easter at Narooma

Our last trip to the NSW coast before winter.

  Easter morning and following an email from the Easter Bunny, we made our way to one of the more remote beaches in search of eggs.
